Walk-ins are not permitted.<\/li><li>Court time is booked in <strong>1 hour time slots for single play and 2 hours for doubles<\/strong>. Bookings are made on the hour (e.g. 7:00AM not 7:30AM).<\/li><li>Booking time slots are shown 5 days out from current day\/hour as indicated by red horizontal line on calendar <em>(e.g. if the current date\/time is Tuesday 16 March 2022 4:00PM, member will be able to view 5 days up until Sunday 21 March 2022 4:00PM)<\/em><\/li><li><strong>A maximum of 4 bookings and no more than 1 booking per day<\/strong> are permitted within this time period. e.g. <em>It is Monday, player books Monday 9:00-10:00AM (singles), Tuesday 10:00-11:00AM (singles), Wednesday 6:00-8:00PM (doubles) and Thursday 6:00-8:00PM (doubles).<\/em><\/li><li><strong>Last minute bookings <\/strong>are made within 1 hour of the current hour\/day (indicated in the system by red horizontal line). These types of bookings do not affect the member\u2019s 1 booking maximum per day\u00a0<strong> <em>(<\/em><\/strong><em>e.g.\u00a0 It\u2019s Monday morning, member books an evening slot of\u00a0 7:00-8:00 PM.\u00a0 At 12:05PM, they see that the 1:00-2:00PM slot is available, they can book it as it is within the current hour\/day).<\/em><\/li><li>Players book court time for themselves and other members playing with them. To book singles play, member adds a second player from the system; to book doubles play, member adds 3 additional players.\u00a0<\/li><li>Players on the court must match individuals selected online.<\/li><li>Booking courts for the purpose of \u201cholding\u201d <em>(e.g. adding member that will not show up)<\/em> will not be tolerated. Court bookings are reviewed on a regular basis.<\/li><li>Bookings may be modified up until scheduled playing time (cancellation\/changes). Cancelling a booking allows other members to have access to the time slot.<\/li><li>If a court is booked and players do not show up within the first 10 minutes, the court becomes available for that time slot <em>(e.g. court is booked from 10:00-11:00, players do not show up by 10:10, said court becomes available 10:10-11:00)<\/em>. Online booking does not allow booking in the past, players can use the court without reserving. A member that\u00a0repeatedly books a time slot and does not cancel ahead of time will be subject to the actions listed in the last item below.\u00a0<\/li><li>Use of <strong>ball machine or backboard<\/strong> are permitted only on Court #2 at Pineglen any day of the week from 7:00AM to 6:00PM.\u00a0<\/li><li>Family memberships includes an option to allow children to book courts. It is the adult\u2019s responsibility to monitor their children\u2019s bookings.<\/li><li>Juniors that are less than 10 years old must be accompanied by a parent\/guardian\/instructor while on the courts.<\/li><li><strong>Guests<\/strong> are permitted when playing with a member who reserves the court by selecting \u201cguest guest\u201d as the additional player. The guest fee must be paid prior to booking by e-transfering funds to: <a href=\"mailto:glenstennisclub@gmail.com\">glenstennisclub@gmail.com<\/a>. The guest fee is $10 \/day\/guest.<\/li><li>Club sanctioned activities (<em>e.g. Club Championships<\/em>) take precedence over individual court bookings.<\/li><li>The above rules must be adhered to and random checks will take place to ensure they are followed. If a member does not comply with the rules, the following actions will be taken by the Executive<ul><li>1st violation &#8211; a warning e-mail will be sent to the member(s)<\/li><li>2nd violation &#8211; member(s) will lose court booking privilege for 1 week.<\/li><li>3rd violation &#8211; membership will be revoked with NO REFUND.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Booking online is mandatory.
